Fitness Center Hours

The Fitness Center hours are:

  • Mon–Fri: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Sat: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Sun: Noon – 5:00 pm


Exercise Studios

We currently have two large rooms dedicated to group fitness classes. Our Dance/Aerobics room was designed with high-energy group exercise classes in mind. The hardwood flooring, mirrored walls, state of the art sound system, and the capacity for over 30 participants in some classes make it the ideal place to enjoy a great workout. In addition, we have a multipurpose exercise room that regularly hosts 18 Star Trac spin bikes, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and youth movement-based fitness classes.

Mike Mihos

Specializations: Muscle Mass, Lean Muscle Mass, Weight Loss, Strength Training, Circuit Training, Core Training, Endurance Training, Injury Prevention, Sport Specific Training and Total Body Fitness

Philosophy: Fitness is a huge part of my life, and it’s my lifestyle. Exercise is my passion, and working out is one of my highlights in every day. I have a broad spectrum client base, from weight loss to muscle development, sport specific training for youth and adults, elderly and special needs persons. I specialize in providing the professional assistance (Education, Motivation, and Accountability) needed to help create good habits leading to permanent lifestyle changes by customizing individual plans with regards to: Weight lifting, Nutrition, Cardio, Core strengthening, Balancing, Resistance/Flexibility training and Vitamins/Supplement recommendations. I also believe in making exercise fun but also challenging. Without challenge there’s no improvement. To be comfortable means to stay the same, to be uncomfortable means you will start seeing the results and change from all your hard work and dedication. I believe in training for life and not just short term benefit. You need to stay focused on the big picture in order to develop a healthier lifestyle and enhance one’s quality of life. If you have a goal or goals, with hard work, motivation, the right support and tools, then WE can achieve it. Whether your goal is to lose body fat, to gain strength and muscle, to become a better athlete, to correct poor posture and alleviate pain, or just to live a healthier lifestyle, I can help you.

Background/History: Ever since I can remember I have always been a very active person in sports and extracurricular activities. I started playing indoor soccer at age 3 and continued playing throughout my senior year of high school. I also played Tee ball and played baseball into Little League as a pitcher. I referred soccer for several years for Mendocino coast youth soccer league as a teenager. I grew up next to a park for the majority of my life where there was always some sort of sport being played on a daily basis with the neighborhood kids. As I started to get into my early teens, I started racing go carts, riding dirt bikes and hiking a lot, going fast and being in the woods was my life! After go carts, I started racing Mini Stock cars at Ukiah and Lakeport Speedway.  I have always been a very hard worker with nothing handed to me. I’ve been working since I was old enough to know how to push a broom, cleaning up bays at my father’s carwash. In my early 20’s I started to become very interested in working out and eating healthy. I worked out hard 6 days a week and finally started to see the changes in my body and how it made me feel. From then on working out became an addiction to me and I have never stopped.  After a couple years of working out I studied to become a Personal Fitness Trainer. Now I am a Double Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. I love what I do and I love being healthy and fit. Working out and staying active will always be a huge part of my lifestyle.

Core Strength

This class combines a variety of yoga and pilates  to increase core strength, flexibility and balance. Exercise target abdominal muscles and back muscles, focusing on strength, flexibility and proper alignment.

Low Impact Dance Class

A fun, low impact, easy to follow dance class using a variety of musical rhythms and styles.

Silver Sneakers Classic

Functional training for range of movement, agility and balance to maintain quick reflexes, light weights for muscle and bone mass, heart and brain healthy cardio movements; all to motivating and uplifting music.

Step Aerobics

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand- held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Step In & Out

Similar to Step Aerobics, but packed into a quick 45 minute workout.

 Total Body Sculpt

This 60-minute fast-paced class challenges, motivates and utilizes a variety of total body strengthening moves in addition to core strengthening exercises and light cardio. Program relies on three proven principles for increased fitness: variety, intensity and load. Our experienced instructors focus on load bearing exercises that produce stronger, leaner and more flexible muscles.

 Weight Bar Workout

This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment. With simple athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, this class is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels.

 Weight Bar In & Out

Similar to Weight Bar Workout, but packed into a quick 45-minutes.

 Zumba® Fitness

When participants see a Zumba® class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  Zumba® Toning

This class is a more challenging, high intensity interval training workout. Moving in sync with music makes you work harder. Spin Bike Classes


Enjoy a fun, fast-paced workout with our motivating staff. Take a ride on our spin bikes, listening to high-energy music and enjoying the rush of an energizing 60-minute workout.

 Cycle & Sculpt 

Come and get a little of everything in one class. This class will consist of a warm up, cycle period, total body conditioning using the weight bars, and lastly, a cool down.


Yoga Classes 

Easy Yoga

A gentle, non- competitive, easy yoga class, With simple sequences for optimal, deep and effective stretching. Roll out into the early morning and onto a sweet yoga mat. Enjoy getting deeper in your gentle practice, soothing sore backs, shoulders and hamstrings while creating spaciousness in any tight muscles.

Gentle Yoga

Yoga is for everyone. Yoga is concentration on body, mind and spirit using breath to make the connections. Classes are gentle and help build strength, flexibility and balance. The yoga is tailored to each student for his or her own particular abilities. Props such as blocks, blankets and belts, the wall and bench are used to enable students with different capabilities to achieve and sustain poses without strain. Alignment is taught so the body is balanced and making the best use of its structure. Each student will be able to work at his or her own level so the class is for beginners to advanced. Students with injuries and seniors are welcome.



Aquatic Classes 

Aqua Power

Jumpstart your workout with high-intensity aqua aerobics. This class has a short warm up and warm down. The majority of the class is high-intensity movement with resistance.

Aqua Zumba®

Known as the Zumba “pool party,” Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

Deep Water Aerobics

Postural awareness and muscle activation is a blast as you work vertically all muscle groups with your head above water. Use flotation equipment in a fast-paced powerful work out. You are sure to burn calories in this class!

Shallow Water Aerobics

A fun, energetic, calorie-burning workout in the leisure pool. Use the resistance of the water and equipment to strengthen the heart, muscles and core.

Low Impact Water Exercise Class

A warm-water exercise program shown to reduce joint pain and improve overall health by increasing strength and flexibility. This class will improve your day-to-day life and is suitable for every fitness level.

Water Fitness For Everyone

This is a gentle exercise program in the leisure pool. You’ll work on balance, cardio-vascular endurance, strength and flexibility. Exercising in a warm, buoyant environment helps decrease pain and stiffness while improving overall physical health.
